TayeTaylor is a Luxury clothing brand catering to the needs of individuals with love for the African culture in an “Africa meets West” definitive style.

Taye Taylor Ltd was established in February 2012 by London based fashion designer Taiwo Okunuga with a debut tunic collection which was showcased at the Africa Fashion Week London. The collection received ample media attention for its Olympics inspired theme. Taiwo has also strutted runways at the Los Angeles African fashion Week (2012) and Mr Africa International Pageant, London (2012). The brand has also been spotted on international celebrities such as Estelle.
 

Taiwo’s intense passion for fashion and arts led her to cross-over from her original profession as a realtor into establishing her own fashion label. She studied Pattern making and sewing at Fashion and Art Academy, House of Henri, Nigeria and went to London College of Fashion, UK to study fashion designing. She also holds a Masters degree in International Business & Entrepreneurship from Essex Business School, UK.
 

Taiwo envisions the brand “Taye Taylor” to be a globally renowned clothing label known for its affordable luxury, catering to both male and female individuals who love the African culture. She believes fashion is her own tool for promoting global cultural awareness and enhancement of her roots.
