Kev was born and raised in Queens, NY to hard-working Nigerian/American parents. Kev is one-half of Royal Kulture Music Kollective consisting of two artists from the NYC area.
He isn’t your typical prototype recording artist/songwriter since he recently graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. His music stem from real life situations that are inspired by the recent passing of his father due to kidney cancer. Kev first two singles “Just Smile” and “Up & Up” are from his debut mix-tape Smile releasing on April 5th, 2013. His mission is to inspire people to embrace their kulture and to remember we are all one kulture.
