MIX DOWNLOAD: DJ JamJam Presents - AfroHeat Volume 2




With his trademark black Wayfarers, beard and recognisable slogans, DJ JamJam continues to qualify his “Oyinbo Swagger” status within the international Afropop/Afrobeats scene.

His first release of the year, AfroHeat Volume 2 marks the beginning of a long line of projects for the vivacious media personality who signed to Nigeria’s prestigious Aristokrat Records in 2013 as Burna Boy’s official DJ.

A follow-up to his successful AfroHeat Vol. 1 and the SA House mixtapes, AfroHeat Volume 2 features tunes from Africa’s biggest names including D’Banj, R2Bees, Davido, Wizkid, P Square, rising UK Afrobeats talents Fuse ODG, Mista Silva, Dizzy VC, Vibe Squad as well as an exclusive remix of the Burna Boy and D’Banj smash hit “Won Da Mo” and a UK Afrobeats Mash Up.

“Oyinbo” means white/Caucasian in the Nigerian language of Yoruba.


DJ JamJam’s has had previous mixtapes nominated for the UK’s Official Mixtape Awards and Boston Globe’s “Best World Mixtape”. 


Biography: DJ JamJam AKA Oyinbo Swagger (translating as “white boy swagger”) came to prominence on the London club scene in 2009 after a successful tour of Nigeria where headlined the Alanta Carnival, Lagos and appeared on national prime-time TV and radio networks. 

JamJam has even ventured into the realm of artistry, in particular his single ‘Nuvo Remix’ alongside Ketchup was championed by platforms like MTV Base Africa and Channel O, gaining him further recognition in the scene. 

In 2013, he signed to the prestigious Aristokrat Records as the official DJ for Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy. To date, JamJam has toured all over the world including Cyprus, Denmark, Ukraine, Finland and Malaysia, opened at Cannes TV Festival, appeared on BBC1Xtra as a guest DJ and has received numerous industry nominations and awards.
