ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: RIP FRANKIE KNUCKLES: DANCE MUSIC MOURNS AS TRIBUTES FLY IN FROM AROUND THE WORLD




One of dance music's most beloved and most respected figures, Frankie Knuckles, has died at the age of 59. He passed away at his home yesterday afternoon.

A founding father of the Chicago house scene, Knuckles helped shaped house music during the 70s while holding a residency at Warehouse.

Exact details of Knuckles' death should emerge today and we do know at the moment that his passing was unexpected. The news has been confirmed by his business partner, Frederick Dunson.
