GADGET: AKG K545 Headphones Review By Dj Lanre (PHOTOS) @biteglobal @AKGaudio by @Lanredavies

First of all I want to say a big thank you to Sam Evans from Bite Global for hooking me up with a wonderful set of brand new AKG K545 headphones.

The headphones are well built with a cool minimalist design and very comfortable to wear. The headband is flexible and stable, I love the way the deep padded earpads swivel enabling the headphones to be folded down flat.

The strong build is good for me as I am very hard on headphones, and always break them! I would say these headphones where designed with someone like me in mind and I have high hopes that they will remain in-tact far longer than other brands I have tried.

The one criticism I have is that I personally like a heavy bass sound - and that is lacking in these headphones.

Apart from that, the balance is good and I didn’t have to turn the volume up to the highest level (like I usually do) to enjoy the music. Which is much better for my ears! I began to enjoy the more natural sound and enjoyed wearing them walking about not minding that they didn’t block outside noises. Others might disagree, but I don’t enjoy that isolation of a complete block-out of sound as I often wear the earphones for hours on end going about tasks etc.

Overall these are a great pair of headphones and I am going to enjoy using them while DJing and for general listening.
