UK based brand CHEF fuses traditional Eastern influences with a more modern, Western take on style for its 2014spring/summer collection, titled REDemption. Obvious pairings of the regions are in the silhouettes that include traditionally Eastern inspired pieces — kimono dresses and cheongsam shirts — together with the West’s baseball jerseys, hoodies and leather jackets, creating an amalgam of Eurasian offerings. Other obvious highlights include Eastern iconography with flags and scriptures adorned throughout. Thematically, the collection represents a casual and sports inspired design that’s showcased in the lookbook above.
