Those of us with tiny hands have been waiting some time for a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, packing the features and gadgety goodness of the full-fat Samsung Galaxy S5 into a more compact form factor. That very device
may well have cropped up on Samsung’s own website recently, under the codename Samsung Galaxy S5 Dx. Read on to find out more…

Smartphones
nearly always go by codenames before they’re launched, so it would be no surprise to hear that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is currently in development using a slightly different name.

And Samsung itself published a page detailing a seemingly brand new model this week, with the handset
sporting the name “Samsung Galaxy S5 Dx”. Although somebody at Samsung evidently realised their mistake and the page was removed, sharp eyed tipster @evleaksmanaged to snag a snapshot of the page and device, and it looks like it could indeed
be the long-anticipated Mini.

Styling is certainly similar to its bigger sibling, going off the images on @evleaks, and if Samsung manages to retain half the specs from the mighty Samsung Galaxy S5 – such as its 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Full HD 1080p display or waterproof design
– Samsung will be onto a winner.

What features would you be willing to compromise in order
to get a much smaller Samsung Galaxy S5? Leave a comment and let us know.
