Only 8 McLaren P1 in total are coming to Canada. This is the only one to supposedly come this year... although I am hearing rumours there is another one coming in September or something. Anyways, The car was brokered through SR Auto and bought from Pfaff. This is unit #65. From my understanding unit #63 is Jay Leno, #64 is supposedly Ralph Lauren, #65 is my good friend Mahdiar Ah (Owner's Instagram).
Yes the rumours are true, he's quite young, early 20s. No, I will not answer personal questions regarding him.
The car is nuts. This is his second time driving it. The first being him taking delivery of the car. The car is fully optioned except for the golden engine bay/engine hood(?), neither of us are sure what the part is, but this car does not have it.
Similar to 75% of the other McLaren P1s, it went through the MSO program. This one has more carbon fibre, if that's even possible, than the "stock" one. The most notable part would be the carbon fibre trim on the spoiler. Supposedly, that part extends out, on top of the active wing. Think of it as an active-active wing. The colour was also through the MSO program- the white has a slight tint of blue.
The inside also has extra carbon fibre trim along with standard alcantara. To my surprise, the interior, compared to the Huayra are polar opposites. As Marcel put it, the Pagani was about theatrics on the inside, the P1 is all about business. In some ways it is minimalistic, there are not too many buttons.
This specific unit was sold over MSRP as it was "second hand" even though it was delivered so early.
