The refreshed Moto G will be with us by the end of the month. It could even land as early as next week, if one retailer is to be believed.
Clove says the cheap-as-chips handset
will be out in the week commencing June 23, which is Monday
. Amazon, meanwhile, lists it as going on sale on June 30, a week later.

Either way, not long to wait until bargain
hunters can snap it up.

The new model of Moto G is the same as the old, except it’s added 4G
for faster browsing
and fewer hiccups while streaming. It also has a microSD card slot, to bolster its built-in storage.

Other than that, it’s the same handset, with the same 4.5-inch 1,280×720-pixel screen, the same – slightly shoddy – 5-megapixel camera
, and the same dimple on the back
for resting your finger.

Amazon
lists the handset at £159.99, while Clove has it for dead on £159. Either way, it’s an absolute bargain.

The only real competitor around this price is the Motorola Moto E, or maybe the Nokia Lumia 630. Both are cheaper, but they don’t have 4G.
