GADGET: Protect your smartphone and shoot better snaps with the Selfieme case and lens

There’s a good chance you carry your iPhone, HTC One (M8) or Samsung Galaxy in a case, but can your phone protector improve your snaps? The Selfieme can. It features its own clip-on lenses to boost your smartphone’s photography skills.

It might not make your phone as versatile as an SLR, but it’s a start. It comes with wide-angle and fish-eye lenses, and a clip-on carry case for both.

As the name suggests, Selfieme is all about taking better, and more creative, selfies.

The lenses are made from aircraft-grade aluminium. The carrying case has a clip for easyattaching to your keys or belt loop, so they’re always with you.

When you want to start snapping, just clip a lens onto the case.

Selfieme is currently a Kickstarter project. A pledge of $49 (£29) plus $8 (£5) shipping will get you the basic package. It includes a pink or white case, both lenses, and the carry case.
