Afrobeats is a scene that is getting massive in the clubs here in the UK and one of the UK’s own Afrobeats rising stars is Jeff Jones. He recently released his track ‘Kajoma’ which was really well received at radio gaining support all over BBC 1Xtra and other key urban stations (Capital Xtra & Kiss). Jeff Jones is one the UK Afrobeats scene’s hottest properties. Having performed onstage with the likes of Fuse ODG and Ice Prince in 2013, Jeff quickly gained support from other heavy weights of the scene by having superstar Mista Silva feature on his last single ‘Oti To’.
After working tirelessly on new material in his London studio with producers Delerious (Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Stylo G) and P2J (Lola Rae) Jeff Jones is set to shake things up with the release of his long awaited new single ‘Kajoma’ which follows on from the smash ‘Oti To’ and features UK emcee Rebler.
Since its release, support for ‘Kajoma’ has come from all corners of radio, TV and online including the likes of BBC 1Xtra (Edu and Target), Capital Xtra (Abrantee), Bang (Jam Jam), Box TV, Channel AKA, Flava, Link Up TV, Not Just Ok and Pardon My Blog. Jeff recently popped into the 1Xtra studios to have a chat with DJ Edu as part of the UK Afrobeats special.
