The below list of artists for 'MOBO Best African Act' will be reduced from 10 to 5 nominees on Wednesday 8th October based on voting results.

Winner of last year’s MOBO Award for Best AfricanAct, Fuse ODG is a UK based musician of Ghanaian descent. His recent single featuring Sean Paul, 'Dangerous Love', reached No. 2 in the top40 charts.
MISTA SILVA
Mista Silva is a British Ghanaian musician from London whose success has led him to be the first unsigned UK Afrobeats artist to have his music playlisted by BBC 1xtra.
WIZ KID
Wizkid is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter, and performer. Wizkid rose to prominence with his hit song, "Don't Dull".
