Surprise news to report as Funkmaster Flex revealed on Instagram that Hot 97’s own Mister Cee will be resigning from the station he’s called home for over two decades. His last scheduled broadcast is expected to air tonight (November 21).
It’s unclear what led to the decision, but the news does come a year after the Brooklyn-bred DJ briefly resigned following allegations about his personal life that has since been addressed and profiled. As of this moment, Cee has yet to officially announce the news himself, but his show will be streaming tonight from 8-10 p.m. EST here.
