Victor Johnson aka Mr Jayvic was born in the UK however he grew up in Nigeria (South East, Abia state) living in the beautiful city of Port Harcourt , His dad is Nigerian and his Mum is Ghanaian, Mr Jayvic is half Nigerian and half Ghanaian, his parents also always believed in his talents however his Father insisted on him growing up in Nigeria in order to learn and Appreciate his roots, while his mum took him to Ghana when he was 16 years to spend a year before coming back to the UK again, at school he soon discovered his love of music and poetry.
Mr Jayvic’s passion and drive to be a renowned musical talent has been a Motivating factor. He combined successfully his passion for music and Schooling, He won best international poet in 2008 and he studied for a Degree in Music and Television. Mr Jayvic has performed on the same Bill as Sugababes, Bashy, Kool & the Gang, Liberty X, Rev Run (Founder member of Run DMC) and many more.
2011 was a good year for Mr Jayvic seeing the release of his debut Mixtape Unbreakable featuring the singles ‘Love Allergy’ and ‘One for Me’ which enjoyed airplay on urban music channels like AKA, OBE and BENTV.
Despite legal problems with his former label Mr Jayvic did not let that stop him from moving ahead with his music. Mr Jayvic teamed up With Jahilez in 2012; Then Early 2014 Mr Jayvic decided to take the solo journey which saw him Perform at the Afrobeat Networking Party and the Sunday Show alongside Richard Blackwood & Eddie Kadi , which was an encouraging boost to Mr Jayvic’s career.
In 2014 summer Mr Jayvic performed at The Notting Hill Carnival on Carnival Mastermind Stage and at London Fashion Week in aid of Prince's Trust Charity.
Now in 2015 Mr Jayvic Teamed up with two producers and one music director Vertex to work on his Album project Titled ‘IamMrJayvic’ , killbeatz and Ayobeaatz are the two best producers In UK and African for Afrobeat type of music Today, being that Mr Jayvic is Half Nigerian and half Ghanaian... Ayobeatz represent his Nigerian side musically, whiles Killbeatz represent his Ghanaian side musically, But Now he is ready for A new single release titled 'EX' Produced by Ayobeatz, Also the music video was Directed VERTEX, Who currently worked with Fuse ODG and Tinie tempha .
The Afrobeat and House mix to the Single EX is schedule for a summer Release Available now for Download on Soundcloud, it’s a Dance fusion that can get your Adrenaline pumping once you hear the Song in the club.
