This past weekend, the whole world’s attention was focused on Las Vegas for the “Fight of the Century” by boxing legends, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. The fight turned out to be a borefest, with Mayweather remaining undefeated, but that’s another story.
Our very own crown-prince of Afropop, Davido was spotted on stage alongside American Hip-Hop stars 50 Cent and Jeremih. While I wouldn’t go as far as saying they all performed together (there’s no clear evidence of that), what’s certain is that they were all kicking it as a crew, and if this is anything to go by, Davido is surely making some major moves behind the scenes.
Can the new generation (Davido/Wizkid) finally cross the bridge the older cats (2face/D’banj/P-Square) have attempted with very little success so far?
