Multi award winning singer Maya Blu releases another summer classic in the making with her new single ‘Good Man’.
Celebrating her recent marriage, the song is an ode to women on the long quest to finding a “Good Man”.
Maya says, “I feel that so many songs now talk about cheating,the over sexualisation of women as objects and living a high life. All of these ideals are idolised and consumed by not just young women but all women and plant seeds of insecurity and self doubt to conform to an ‘ideal’ that simply isn’tnormal. I wanted to share a feeling of love, being in love and celebrating love and send out a big positive message.”
‘Good Man’ is soaked in sunshine beats, laden with beautiful full strings and a vintage touch.
“I took inspiration from my own relationship and my recent marriage. Happiness is contagious. I am definitely very happy and enjoying the liberation of being myself fully”.
The single was produced by Gil Cang whose credits also include Michael Jackson, BeBe Winans, Maxi Priest and more.
The new single ‘Good Man’ by Maya Blu will be releasing on the 5th August via 528Music Global.
