Atumpan and Big Narstie are a pair that know a thing or two about fun. Narstie has been spearheading grime’s most bombastic crew – BDL – for years, injecting his larger than life sense of humour into the scene, while Ghana’s Atumpan’s brand of afrobeats has lit up everything its touched since his 2013 breakout ‘The Thing’.
The two have finally come together on Atumpan’s latest single, ‘We Like It’, a grime-afrobeats collab that packs enough heat to blast away these autumnal clouds. The video takes the track across the UK, and the globe, introduced by Capital Xtra’s Abrantee, before winding up at Reading and Leeds with Narstie and Atumpan on-stage together for a performance that proves the track’s certi.
