Hot on the heels of releasing ‘Change of Heart’ featuring rising star Chiara Hunter and garnering support from the likes of Beats 1, 1Xtra, Noisey, MTV and Wonderland, Warsaw raised and based producer and artist Chloe Martini has unveiled her latest track ‘Dark Noise’ featuring UK singer-songwriter BB Diamond.
Seeing Chloe continue to claim her rightful place as one of the music industry’s most exciting talents, ‘Dark Noise’ gives another taste of her unique sound, incorporating hypnotic, elastic beats and dancefloor vibes mixed with the haunting and soulful vocals of BB Diamond.
The track is taken from Chloe’s forthcoming second EP ‘Never Twice The Same’, a celebration of modern girl power, featuring collaborations with some of the UK’s hottest up-and-coming female artists including Anne-Marie, Vanessa White and Chiara Hunter. Serving as the follow-up to her debut EP ‘Private Joy’, ‘Never Twice The Same’ is set to make some huge waves with its release this Friday (March 17th).
On ‘Dark Noise’ Chloe commented:
"R&B 90's girl bands like TLC, Destiny’s Child, The Good Girls etc were so iconic and it’s what inspired me to become a producer. We don't see many women joining their forces together these days just to create great music. There’s an air of self-promotion around at the moment but I feel like female empowerment needs to be about more than just strong individuals championing themselves. I’m not about collaborating with acts simply because ‘they are hot right now’. On this EP, I just wanted to work with some of my favourite female vocalists and embrace the fact that they're strong and independent but not shy away from their vulnerabilities too."
As a self-taught producer and musician, it was her insanely popular remixes of tracks from the likes of Destiny’s Child, Sia, RÜFÜS, Janelle Monae and Pusha T that swiftly brought her onto the radar of established DJs and producers including Annie Mac and Snakehips, who she went on to support on tour alongside her own headline tours and sets at some of Europe’s largest festivals including Bestival, Open’er and Way Out. Chloe’s debut EP saw her attract support from the likes of Radio 1 and 1Xtra and tastemakers such as The 405, Majestic Casual and Eton Messy and amass millions of streams - alongside her highly sought-after remixes - across Soundcloud and Spotify.
Chloe’s most recent production credits include US soul duo VanJess’ next single and two of Vanessa White’s solo releases, whilst she recently collaborated with the up and coming UK artist Ruby Francis on a sultry R&B refix of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’. Selected by Redbull Music Academy from tens of thousands of applications to join their September 2016 season in Montreal – which saw her collaborating with a range of other musicians such as Kaytranada and River Tiber and performing at a number of the city’s key venues - Chloe Martini continues to prove why she is set to be the name firmly on every music lover’s lips.
“‘Dark Noise’ is another slice of urgent, addictive, dance music from Chloe, with BB Diamond’s soulful vocal perched neatly atop Martini’s decadent soundscapes.” - The Line of Best Fit
