In the engaging story-line for “Pikin” a young lady in the diaspora
returns to her mum in Accra, Ghana and falls in love with the musician-boy-next-door but much to the mum’s disapproval.
The narrative shows him taking the daughter out to enjoy the city's beautiful sights
whilst also trying to win over the distrusting mother.
