Ever wondered what Beethoven would sound like if he made Afrobeats? Well, you don’t need to any longer as Chocolate City producer-artist Ckay has interpolated the classical music maestro’s 5th symphony on "Way"– his new infectious afrobeats record.
This is the first single off his forthcoming EP titled, Ckay The First, which will be released on August 30th.
The single is a self-produced up-tempo record, guaranteed to be a dancefloor fixture over the coming months. It is also a testament to the artist’s one-of-a-kind creativity and acumen.
While Ckay is no stranger to hits, – crafting more than a few himself as both artist and producer – he says,
‘I just want people to see what we’ve been working on. We’ve put in a lot of effort to give everyone great music, and we think that work will reflect when they hear Way, as well as the rest of the EP.’
