Introducing M1llionz: the young British talent who releases new single ‘Y Pree’ on April 16. Produced by Hargo & Abzy the track is live across all digital streaming platforms after premiering on BBC Radio 1/1Xtra’s DJ Snoochie Shy’s show. This latest offering provides an excellent snapshot of the North West Birmingham native’s story-telling prowess. Merging a diverse mix of UK Drill and Rap with a unique, versatile flow influenced by his Caribbean roots, he’s setting the bar high.
The accompanying video executively directed by M1llionz and his in-house director – Chauffeur was shot entirely on location across the island of Jamaica, showcasing Little Dunns River – Ochi Rios, Pennants – Clarendon, Seaview Gardens – Kingston and the sweeping hills of Montego Bay.
Having stepped into the scene delivering quality singles such as ‘North West’ in November 2019, he followed this with ‘No Rap Cap’ in December. 2020 saw him kick start a new decade with the fire of street anthems ‘HDC’ and ‘BX19’as well as teaming up with Meekz, Teeway and Pa Salieu for the massive collaboration ‘Year Of The Real’ which connected London, Birmingham, Manchester and Coventry, with a video nearing 3 million views on YouTube.
Taking the streets by storm and adding a fresh new sound to UK music, he earned support from a plethora of UK heads from BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss Fresh, Beats 1 and Mixtape Madness whilst Complex tipped him in their annual Ones To Watch list. Quite rapidly M1llionz is proving to be set for the global stage.
