South East London’s Kid D continues his string of monthly releases of instrumentals with his latest one, Forgotten Dreams which follows on from last month’s vocal single Serious Choices ft. Grime star Novelist.
Known as the originator of the mature Grime sound, this track is no different with flourishing synths and a heavy bass with a looping female vocal. This track gives way for any emcee to produce their finest bars over the Summery, dreamy sounding beat.
Having produced for some of the biggest names in grime Wiley, Ghetts, Devlin, Skepta and Hardy Caprio, Kid D is not a new name in the scene, carving a name for himself as one of the genre’s most poignant instrumentalists. This new music is showing off his skills as a wordsmith as well as producing, revealing the artist has more talent than he has ever displayed before all on one record.
