Major Lazer & Major League DJz link up for new single 'Koo Koo Fun' featuring Tiwa Savage and DJ Maphorisa!
This new Amapiano anthem manages to mix piano melodies, smooth jazz elements, Kwaito baselines, and low-tempo 90’s South African house rhythms with modern lyricism. This international track is taken from a joint EP with Major Lazer and Major League DJz Bandile and Banele Mbere. The brothers have taken their unique take on South Africa’s subgenres on tour around the world.
Since its debut in 2009, the American electronic dance music DJ trio Major Lazer, which includes record producer Diplo, and DJs Walshy Fireand Ape Drums has consistently affirmed its desire to celebrate cultures, to uplift artists and genres from around the world and to create a new kind of electronic music.
