Trinidadian Soca artist Yung Bredda continues to roll out infectious content for his global smash ‘The Greatest Bend Over (Take It Easy)’. Just in time for Carnival season in the UK, comes the official music video for the remix version featuring legendary Grammy Award-winning artist Sean Paul.
Produced by fellow Trinidad and Tobago powerhouse Full Blown Entertainment (and originally released in December 2024, ‘The Greatest Bend Over’ quickly became the biggest Soca track of the year, dominating the charts with an insatiable blend of Soca and dancehall.
The music video, out on Yung Bredda’s YouTube channel, gives pure Carnival-feels and continues to showcase the infectious nature of the Riddim and lyrical flair from both artists.
The Sean Paul-featured version of ‘The Greatest Bend Over (Take It Easy)' held the number one spot on Apple Music Trinidad and Tobago for an impressive 18 consecutive days and has since accumulated over 20 million streams across platforms. The release has over 17 million streams to date and has remained in the Apple Music top 40 charts for over three months. It’s currently charting in over 100 Apple Music charts worldwide and sits at #20 on the Global Reggae/Dancehall Shazam chart. Both versions of the track are in the top 5 of the UK Soca chart, and it's being dubbed the song for carnival. Spot plays include BBC 1Xtra and Capital Xtra, and it's just been added to Spotify’s ‘Who We Be’ playlist. Additionally, it has sparked over 90,000 global TikTok creations, solidifying its place as the fastest-growing Soca record across the Caribbean.
This also comes off the back of Yung Bredda’s recent trip to the UK, where he headlined Matt’s BBQ festival on 21st June, bringing his carnival energy directly to the UK alongside Jamaican dancehall artist Ding Dong and many more.
