MUSIC VIDEO: WHYDEE - KIKI

North-West London’s own WhyDee is continuing his upward trajectory with “KIKI”, a slick, new jazz-infused single that’s fast becoming one of his most exciting releases to date.

Just two weeks after release, the official music video has already surpassed 220,000 views, with no signs of slowing down, while the track has landed Rollingstone Magazine’s Hot Pick and secured placements across multiple key playlists.

“KIKI” sees WhyDee leaning fully into his playful confidence, sharp wordplay, and effortless charm. Opening with his signature “uh huh,” the track blends humour, style flexes, and smooth romantic imagery, Chanel bags, quick replies, and the rush of young love over a polished, New jazz-inspired beat produced by Glidzonthebeat, and co-produced and mixed by WhyDee himself.

At 140 BPM, it’s light, infectious, and designed to stick. Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, WhyDee explains: “The concept for ‘KIKI’ really came from the beat and the feeling it gave me. I imagined a classy girl who appreciates the finer things, and I wanted the song to feel like a compliment something fun, smooth, and positive. I’m loving this jazz vibe, and it’s exciting to show I can write and rap to anything.”

The success of “KIKI” builds on an already impressive run. WhyDee’s debut visuals currently sit at 2.9 million views and 5 million streams with numbers continuing to climb across platforms.

Beyond music, 2025 has been a standout year for WhyDee as he continues to develop his personal brand, collaborating with global names including Apple, Marc Jacobs, Jacquemus, the NFL, the Premier & Ballers League, among many others.

A true multi-hyphenate, WhyDee’s journey spans rapper, producer, engineer, content creator, and now acting; each lane feeding into the other. His audience, known as The Hawktribe, continues to grow organically, drawn to both his creative output and authenticity.

Most recently, WhyDee has been announced on the lineup for Coca-ColaRhythm Unplugged in Lagos, marking his first appearance at one of Nigeria’s most iconic live music events and signalling his expanding international reach.
