success, personal growth and new beginnings. The atmospheric beat, produced by EM1X, underpins 17’s unadulterated bars, which also serve to give thanks to where he is in life and how he got there, balanced by his unwavering dedication to both football and musical expression.
This follows his previous singles ‘Hop Out Ft. Ramz & ODUMODUBLVCK’ and ‘Letter’ both of which garnered widespread media support from the likes of The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss FM and GRM Daily. Both released in 2025, around then he also joined UEFA’s ‘Off Pitch’ show on YouTube for a live performance and an interview to discuss his career both on and off the pitch.
The upcoming 9-track EP ‘More To Life’ is out 9th April, the project shows 17 carving out a distinct lane of his own, and as the title suggests, it offers a glimpse into his world. Leaning into his diasporic influences, there’s a heavy Afrowave footprint across the project, paying homage to his Nigerian roots. This is showcased by featured artists out of West Africa, such as Nigeria singer Fido and 24AM, the fellow Premier League Footballer and artist Amadou Onana, who both add their styles into the mix, along with a range of drill UK Rap, Drill, and Afrobeats influences.
