Afro-Pop singer-songwriter Jinmi Abduls returns with ‘Renaissance’, a six-track EP. Fresh off the success of his summer singles ‘Sade’ and ‘Hold You’, this project marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Built around warm percussion and sensual production, the record explores desire and intimacy, with Jinmi Abduls painting cinematic late-night scenes through evocative lyrics.
On ‘Enjoyment Amaka’, Jinmi Abduls embraces his charismatic side with smooth Afro-Pop, playful lyricism and an effortlessly catchy chorus. It showcases enjoyment, confidence and beautiful women. ‘Saro’ keeps the energy high with bouncing percussion, bright saxophone melodies and an infectious groove.
Closing the project is ‘Hold You’, which blends gentle Afrobeats and R&B influences. The tender love song explores intimacy, reassurance and the quiet comfort of simply being there for someone you love.
