Joe Samba jr is one of those artists, whose soul resides in all genres of music. Born in Lagos Nigeria, he has successfully been producing music for several major recording companies such as Sony/BMG, Intercord/EMI, Edel records, Dance street (ZYX) in his German based territory since the beginning of the nineties till to date. A MC himself and also the owner of the label X-cape records that have successfully released artists that has been placed in several club charts in Europe such as Virginia Born, Captain jack jr to mention a few.
In the early days, while constantly performing as an MC with active disc jockeys in several club locations all over Europe he decided to open up his second label AfroVision Records after hitting no 12 in the German dance charts with sales over 500,000 units sold world wide with the track "l like summer". Currently, his teaming up with another european club producer (Simon Stuhr Snr) has produced 'Da Berg Project' which has helped in unleashing a brand new house stomper "Oro Yin Ole".
Tribal, jacking beats and African vocals infuse with winding electronic synths delivering a slightly left of center outcome that is sure to get the dance floor spinning out of control. Already, this new single has found itself in the hands of Eric Morello of the famous hit track (I Like to move move it), Roger Sanchez (USA), Pete Grifiths of (Tools Knight UK)....to name a few and has been placed in some UK DJ chart buzz of which Christian Homann of (Rte pulse radio) Ireland is non exception. AfroVision Records are dedicated to releasing music from a diverse selection of artists, which include legendary singer Jocelyn Brown and the famous UK Deejay Jonathan Ulysses. Oro Yin Ole is set to hit the download stores in March 2011 and is setting the standards sky high for future projects from this exciting label.
