Emeka Momah a.k.a Emeczy was born in Arlington, Virginia to Nigerian parents who hail from Nnewi-North, Anambra State.
Emeczy attended Nigerian Military School , Zaria in Kaduna state where he received rigorous training for six years. Emeczy, as his friends called him back then, started rhyming and writing music at the age of 11. He actively participated in extra curricula activities; Interactive clubs that saw him competing and acquiring the reputation of a show stopper amongst his peers.
Emeczy's biggest influences are Micheal Jackson, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, M.I, Ice Prince to mention a few. His deep rooted lyrics and passion for music is evident in his eclectic rapping style.
