REVIEW: Dee Moneey ft Sarkodie & J.Town - Finish Line (Video Video) Review by @marjoriefiedler

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Stand up!! Ghana's youngest flyest rapper Dee Moneey , CEO of Militant Mindz Records, released yesterday the visuals to his track "FINISH LINE" featuring J.Town

and the master of Ghanaian Indegenous Rap Sarkodie aka Mister Obidi.

Now this is what I call a Sick, Off da chain, Creative, Bombastic video.

The Mastermind who directed it goes by the name of David Nicol-Sey, the founder of NORTH PRODUCTION.

I am sure you will agree with me after seeing the video.

Following the reactions I received from couple of Celebrities, they totally agree that this production is phenomenal.

The settings, the beat, the artists, the swag, the Atmosphere, Everything is on point.

Big up to Ghanaian dope producer Gafacci for producing such a fantastic beat.

I challenge anyone to pin point any professional negative existing aspects in this video.

I'm afraid there are NONE. :-)

The quality of the video, the flow and the sound of the track are exceptional.

There is also some real, authentic Hip Hop showcased and the hook is more than catchy.

The fact that I have worked with Dee Moneey before doesn't influence my opinion on this review.

If the video or the track was bad I would mention it. I do not give anybody the sweet treatment.

Like I always like to say: Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.

Meaning, You should know how to give credits when its due.

Following verses really caught my attention:

This verse is partly in GA, a dialect spoken in Ghana Dee Moneey: O Gba O E na, O gba O E na, I'mma hold it down for a little while.

Translation: You are bothering yourself for nothing, I'mma hold it down for a little while.

J.Town: Life no be easy so we you for take a chance. And when the money comes, Kw333...Bands to make HER dance. (hahahahhaha) This verse is in Twi, another dialect spoken in Ghana.

Sarkodie: Wo b3 y3 me roff, me twi Cane.

Translation: If you don't behave with me, I will bring the cane. (Fierce) Life so far, Only thing I'm used to: Cheque book, Password, Domain.

Hmmm, I get the Cheque book line but I am yet to understand the rest.

It's alright I can live with it :-) There is definitely levels to this. This is exactly what I am expecting from Ghana / African Hip Hop and I am sure that I am not the only one.

Compare this to one of the tracks you usually here in Miami clubs = No difference.

America, it seems like Ghana finest Hip Hop is coming for you.

I would be very surprised if this track isn't nominated for several awards in Ghana and abroad, because in this quarter of the year, this is definitely THE TRACK coming from Ghana that blew me away so far.

If you are a hater, you should try to meet them at the finish line. Well that's what they said. :-) Last but not least: I really like Dee Moneey's spoken words at the end.

They reflect the opinion's of certain individuals when he chose the music path.

Some probably discouraged him and many said that he wouldn't make it. The usual thing...Termination, Ambition, Passion were his MOTIVATION.

Moral of the day: If they say you Can't do it. Prove them wrong by doing it. Find your Motivation. Motivate yourself.

Cogito Ergo Sum
