I came across this song 2 weeks ago and my first thought was: Hmmmm, the beat reminds me of Rihanna's - Pon Di Replay.
Afro-Dancehall artist Lamboginny and the beautiful Muna teamed up and "All I Want" is the result of this collaboration.
I must admit that it is is a hot track.
Some sexy Shabba things going on there. :-)
Muna proves here that she can sing and rap whilst Lamboginny comfirms with his strong voice and skills that he is back like he never left.
In my opinion, ALL I WANT could cross borders and become a successful Dancehall track locally and abroad. If it is well marketed.
My favourite part of the song is when Muna says:
"Hey boy , come a likkle closer so we can run things" (in a Jamaican accent) I can't stop laughing every time I hear it.
There is no doubt that this is a Club banger! It seems to me that they wanted to deliver a funny, sexy, catchy dancehall track and they succeeded!
There is a strong musical chemistry between both artists.
That's what I meant last time, when I said that the musical chemistry between 2 or several artists has to be on point in order to have great results on a feature.
It's not like you wake up in the morning and you suddenly have the urge to feature with someone just like that.
These "Anyhow" movements won't bring any artist further.
It is a waste of time, energy and beats.
Muna and Lamboginny are set to release an Album called "The Movement".
I am looking forward to the music video of "All I Want" and the album.
