BEFFTA award nominee HoneyB - real name Honey Zainab Marshal - is proud to present the Brand New Video for her new
single titled ‘Nobody Knows’ from the ‘Say NO To Violence Against Women’ project. The track was produced by Daniel Asamoah (Benzino).
After the release of her debut single “Up Down” and her rendition of popular Fuji track ‘Sempe’ featuring her father Fuji legend K1 De Ultimate, HoneyB has been quiet in the music scene only to return with this heartfelt emotional track conveying a profound message.
What started off as a lyrical diary entry turned into a rhythmic rap portraying raw emotion that gave an insight into ‘HoneyB’ the person versus the artist.
Created as freestyle, “Nobody Knows” is quite controversial as it
addresses issues such as domestic violence, a prevalent yet sensitive subject among young people. The track and it’s video aims to bring worldwide attention to violence against women and the internal conflicts faced by young girls. The track promotes female empowerment, a movement HoneyB is very supportive of.
‘Nobody Knows’ will be available on iTunes August 1st 2014.
