Get familiar with Olalekan Abdulaziz Akinsola, a Chicago-based Nigerian R&B singer-songwriter better known as "Aziz", whose debut single "Tsunami" a song about sexual intimacy and pleasing the opposite sex is making heads turn, nod and smile. His sound is unique, filled with thumping and sultry beats in perfect symmetry with the accompanying story-driven lyrics.

20 year old Aziz, who began his music career in high-school with a hip-hop /Afro pop crew called the Nurty Boiz, is currently in the army reserves. While serving and protecting his birth country, Aziz still finds time to work on his first love - music. Inspired by the likes of Tuface Idibia, Wande Coal, Trey Songz and Chris Brown' Aziz merges African and Western sounds in order to engage both cultures.

Aziz is currently working on a mixtape due for release next year. He draws songwriting inspiration from various things around him such as his experiences in the army and the social scene in Chicago; where you can often find Aziz performing and wooing the ladies at Club Transit, Tavern and Redno5.
