Gospel Osagie, commonly known as OZ, is a rapper from South London with a style of music laid with heavy beats.

OZ’s passion for music began in church, where he was a children’s church choir drummer. The skills acquired at an early age brought about the ability to have an ear for the production of music.

After his secondary school education in Nigeria, OZ moved to the UK, where he spent a huge part of his life. The 25-year-old developed his music skills and joined an underground rap group ‘RODE’, which was known to be one of South London’s top rap crew. RODE traveled different parts of the UK to perform before OZ decided to take on a solo career.

OZ is signed to an indie label, The Mavrik Music, which is headed by popular video director James Mavrik.
