November 15th this year saw a select 13 Young people right in the heart of London, at Croydon BRIT School presenting at the World Renown Tedx event. Aina More delivered a performance, bringing together a powerful message and her love for music, Aina More incorporated lyricism and spoken word in her new age Hip Hop performance.
Inspired by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Fela Kuti and Tupac, Aina's delivery is modern and inspiring, “Everyday interactions with people should matter. When you make it matter, you can positively make change.’’ How can you make your life matter? How can you create change? .
Ms More
s performance entitled ‘Make It Matter’ touched on current issues worldwide including Eric Garner and #BringBackOurGirls. With performances like this, in line with her music, we can definitely appreciate that this Young Woman is reaching heights in Hip Hop that reflect the true meaning of the Hip Hop Culture.
For those of you who don’t know about Ted, it is an independently organized event in the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
You may have heard the speech from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie ‘We should all be feminists’ which featured on Beyoncé’s album, which was sampled from Chimamanda’s performance at Tedx Euston last year.
Without much further delay
