Rising star: Russian tennis player Violetta Degtiareva died of heart failure
A rising tennis star tipped to be the next Anna Kournikova has tragically died after suffering a heart attack at the age of 23.
Russian beauty Violetta Degtiareva was ranked 1,084 in the world, having previously peaked at 947.
However, according to reports in her homeland, the stunning blonde died shortly after collapsing due to heart failure during a training session.

Violetta's most notable career moment came when she reached the quarter-finals at the ITF-Turnier in Turkey.
Her stunning looks meant she was often compared to fellow Russian tennis star and model, Anna Kournikova, who despite never winning a major title, achieved celebrity status that made her one of the highest earning players.
The pretty pin-up, who was born in Rostov, reportedly suffered a heart attack but it is not yet clear whether she died at the training centre or en-route to hospital.

News of Violetta's death was not immediately released and only became public when her close friend, fellow tennis player Anastasia Vdovenco, 20, announced it on Facebook, where it was picked up by Russian media.
Anastasia said: "I can hardly believe it. Rest in peace."
Media reports did not specify where Violetta was training when she was taken ill.
