ZOMBIE? Bart the cat with his injuries [IG]The moggy came back to life and clawed out of its grave, despite being pronounced dead by vets.
Family pet Bart was hit by a car, suffering head trauma, a broken jaw and a damaged eye – giving him a 'zombie' look.
The moggy ran back to its home in Tampa, Florida, after clawing its way out of a shallow grave.
Following his injuries, mixed with actually coming back from the grave, the media have dubbed him the 'zombie cat'.
His owners claim that, while Bart will lose his eye, he is very much alive.
Rescuers from the Tampa Bay Humane Society, where the poor moggy is being treated, suggest he may have escape first, hid for a few days before mustering the courage to go back to his owners.
