This exposure made him become a follower of music at a tender age with particular interests in Reggae and Dancehall. His old reggae musical roots acquired from growing up on the streets of Accra, his enlightenment to various types of lifestyles and music cultures living in the diaspora; and his fusion of different dialects into his craft gives him a unique style and sound that moves you and gives you a refreshing vibe.
BLVCKUP has been active on the music scene, releasing few a mixtapes and hot singles including "Ïgwe" and "Versatility"(both produced by Chicago based award-winning producer, Mobeatz BangR); before taking a brief hiatus.
In 2015, BLVCKUP came back with a big bang, under the management of Woj3Ga Muzik.
The versatile and multifaceted AfroBeat, Reggae/Dancehall artiste released a sensational summer classic "Romantic" produced by Julz and mixed by Mobeatz BangR; and then followed up with a remix version of the song featuring Ghanaian Dancehall Artiste and BET Award-Winning Artiste "STONEBWOY”.
