FASHION: This Nike SB Denim Pack Is Not Inspired by Biggie & 2Pac

A source at Nike SB has confirmed to us that the upcoming Dunk Low and Air Force 2 Low are in fact just a regular Denim Pack with no association to either The Notorious B.I.G. or Tupac. “This one definitely echoes the old days of SB where we put something out there and it took a life of its own,” the source says.

The internet’s ability to nickname Nike SBs was one of the key factors to its popularity in the 2000s. Regardless of naming, this is still one tough pair of sneakers. After an initial rumor surfaced, we recently received a first look at Nike SB ”Biggie vs.

Tupac” pack. Comprised of a Notorious B.I.G. Dunk Low and a Tupac Shakur Air Force 2 Low, the duo is inspired by the late rappers’ iconic rivalry. Paying homage to the Bad Boy and Death Row‘s East vs. West rivalry, the shoes feature denim uppers accented by paisley and plaid linings.

While tonal laces, gum outsoles and leather tongue tabs round up the design of the pack. No official release notes just yet, but stay tuned for more information regarding Nike SB’s “Biggie vs. Tupac” pack, and take a closer look at the pair in the meantime.
