Warner Chappell Music has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, Austin “Tay” Iornongu Iwar, popularly known as Tay Iwar, through its joint venture with The Flight Club
Tay Iwar has collaborated with African stars such as Wizkid, Cruel Santino and M.I. Abaga. He also co-wrote the track ‘System’ for Dave’s number one album We’re All Alone In This Together, and produced M.I’s ‘Do You Know Who You Are?’ the lead single from his album A Study on Self Worth: Yxng Dxnzl.
Warner Chappell Music, an American music publishing company and a subsidiary of the Warner Music Group, which boasts heavyweights like Aretha Franklin, Dave, Twentyone Pilots, T.I., Quincy Jones, David Bowie, Katy Perry, Nina Simeone, DJ Spinall, Calvin Lewin, Nina Simone, and a host of others, recently signed the highly underrated and talented Tay Iwar.
So far, Tay has released five studio projects, which include ‘Passport‘, ‘Renascentia’, project; ‘Gemini’, ‘Gold‘ and an EP, released in 2021 titled ‘Love & Isolation’.
