During the interview Gemma gets to grips with how Ty's music reflects his own independent journey, what it was like for him growing up in a rough South London neighbourhood and what era of music inspires him the most. Find out Ty's view on consciousness as we explore stereotypes and the importance that his parents have played in keeping him on the right path. Now a member of The HipHop Shakespeare Company, Ty reveals his opinion on how the industry has changed and sheds light on what is was like being the first person in the UK hip hop industry to be heritage proud and vocal about it.
