Eve is engaged to her longtime beau Maximillion Cooper, the rapper confirmed via Twitter. Eve, 35, and the British designer, 41, have been a couple for three years. Cooper popped the question on Christmas Day in a romantic proposal in Edinburgh, Scotland, according to a source.
"Thanku 2 everybody 4 your congratulations on our engagement! We wanted to celebrate with our family and friends 1st b4 announcing," she wrote.
The pair met at Gumball 3000, an annual international 3000-mile car rally, which Cooper founded. They have been living together in London for the past few years, where Eve has been working on new music. She released a long-awaited EP "Lip Lock" this past summer.
The former Ruff Ryder opened up to Chelsea Handler about her interracial relationship this past June. "I've never been the type of person to discriminate," she said. "But I honestly have to say I never thought I'd be with a white guy ever. But it just happened. It's amazing. I'm the first Black girl he's ever been with too."
