GADGET: Far Cry 4: Next-gen shooter takes you to the Himalayas this November!




Next-gen gaming fans rejoice: Ubisoft is bringing another title into its esteemed Far Cry franchise with the announcement of Far Cry 4, and it’s out this year! The new game is on the way in November, and it’ll be taking you to the Himalayas – and if it’s anything like the previous game, you can look forward to a huge, glorious game world to explore. Ubisoft has revealed that the latest entry in the Far Cry franchise will be hitting shelves on 21 November on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, taking you to the wild region of the Himalayas, known as Kyrat, which is ruled by a self-appointed king and could even sport ridable elephants, as previously reported by Eurogamer.

The game itself is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with Ubisoft’s Red Storm Entertainment, while Ubisoft’s Toronto, Shanghai and Kiev studios are all pitching in too. With E3 kicking off next month, you’ll surely be hearing a lot more about Ubisoft’s latest title – but before you’ve even laid your eyes on any gameplay, Ubisoft has already opened up pre-orders, which will bag you the Limited Edition version that comes with three extra missions starring Far Cry 3’s DLC character Hurk.
